It is great to capture this moment of carrying the branches by the flying heron. The feathers are very sharp. But I also feel the head is a bit over-exposed and that was the focus of attention. |

I like to see the very dynamic interactive moment caught by this snapshot. Off center placement is something I learned from this image. |

It is a beautiful image and I like the color and pattern of cloud in the sky. I would add some contrast and saturation on the sky . I have ever taken the sunrise photo before. I always remembered the suffering of the sleep deprivation of early raise. I appreciate your courage and energy of getting up earlier and taking this wonderful image. |

It is very nice combination of color and shapes. I would agree that a bit enhancement of contrast and saturation would provide some improvement. |

It is really remarkable that stick of incense can create such beautiful image. The choice of color and the shapes of incense did reflect an interesting story. |

Don, I really do not know why there is no start burst on the right side. I suspect that the rays on the left side is unexpected. Because there was raining that evening. There may have some unwanted unclean water film on the left surface that caused the star ray effect. You are right that the f-stop could control the size of start burst. But I am not certain if I can produce the similar effect like that in the left side. |

Cindy, thanks for your comments! I noticed the slight tilting of the building in both sides. I think that the skewing effect produced by my wide angle lens, Nikon 14-24mm. I decided to keep this skewing effect without correction. It is just a personal taste. I like to take night scene and always have trouble with the dark sky. It is very good suggestion and I will try and learn your way to fix. |
