Wow! This is the great value of study groups.
Jenny saw the lake beyond the trees. (I missed the lake completely thinking it was a spot of sky). Now I see that it adds depth to the scene. |

Here's a strange comment: What if you softened the focus just a tiny bit overall to give the impression of fading with age. Here's a quick try just using Gaussian blur in Photoshop set at 1.2 (might have added too much blur, but it gives the idea. |

I love this bird with its claw raised as if just landing or about to take of. You got great definition in the black feathers. My only other comment is that I find the tiny dot of white above the eye draws my attention. |

Love the photo just as it is. For me there is a slight distraction from the leaves with the yellowed edges in the foreground in front of the pot. |

I really like the long view, especially the way there are bluebonnets throughout, even under the trees. My eye is drawn to the one tiny spot of blue sky visible between the trees on the right, but that would be easy to clone out if you wanted to. |

It's a great photo made better by using technology roll the clock back to sunset. I see Eric's point about the highlights, but for me just a little less sharpening might also do the trick. |

I do see your point about the branches. I cloned them out which let me keep the sort-of crocodile monster look of the bigger "creature" -- Actually the photo kind of divides into two stories: the big guy on the left and the cluster of smaller monsters on the right -- couldn't decide so kept them all for fun. |
