What I really love about this image is that the angle of photo, looking through the leg of the table, conveys the feeling of sitting on the couch watching the storm. |

I like everything about this one. Only question is whether you used a blur to soften the background players or if it was just the effect of the depth of field -- their facial features seem all the same amount of blurriness (not too familiar with this type of photo so just wondering).

I like the cropped image. I think I would like to bring out the water a bit more by increasing the contrast.

All great comments photographically, but for me the background is a fun part of this photo -- the leaves almost look like they have teeth and it's fun to think they're trying to protect the flowers :)

That's a great hint for any situation where color or contrast or light/shadow are more important than the actual subject, especially if that's what prompted you to grab the camera in the first place. Thanks for the idea. |
