For some reason that probably has nothing to do with photographic merit, I find that if I crop off a bit of the right side so that the meeting of the two clock faces is more centered, I get a more peaceful feel. As I say, this goes against the "thirds" thinking, but I wonder how others might feel. |

Don't ask me how to do it, but Photoshop's new Generative AI feature could add the left edge back in for you. I've seen it done and it looks very simple and quite incredible. There are, of course, lots of tutorials out there (just not enough time to learn them so far). Might be a fun image to try it with. |

I have to smile bout your suggestion. I'd have to call the builder for that one. I carefully straightened the roof line, but for anything else, I felt it would risk distorting the gnomes' shapes. But you are definitely right about the siding and corner. |

The image with the people was taken first. I waited for them to leave the scene and then took another image without any people in the scene. Looking at the original I don't think there would have been any way to remove the people and still have the left-most gnome. |

Great nostalgic image. I especially like how the rain on the road and the puddle explain grey sky and the raindrops on your lens. It gives a very nice "you are there" feel to the viewer. I find the colors and contrast are excellent, as is the sharpness and detail. The only thing I would suggest is to clone out the overhead wires. |
