I got a great morning chuckle about the truck. It absolutely looks like it could be the same truck -- same style and color! |

Finally got around to trying to remove the car. Decided it would be easier to clone something over it. Here's my result. It's a much better photo without the distraction. Thanks for providing the needed push to get around to it.
As for the sharpening, I pushed it as far as I could without getting edges. I think having a window between me and the scene may have not been the best idea, but there was no way to get that angle from outside. |

I really like the crispness of the colors and the focus throughout, as well as the framing and just the right amount of sky. For a tiny nit, I'd take out the overhead wires crossing the forest at two levels, but especially the one that crosses the open sky. |

It could be snow on a mountain range. Or froth on turbulent water. It's one of those great images that takes the viewer wherever the first impression leads, and then lends itself to endless exploration. What if you played with the color? Or? |

Thanks for seeing what drew me to the scene. I know exactly what you mean about the truck. I really wanted it out of there, but the job seemed too monumental that day. Now I would like to try to get rid of it. I think it might be easier to bring in some appropriate shrubbery rather than trying to clone out the vehicle. I'll have to give it a try when time permits. |
