I like the idea of increasing the color and saturation. I think both versions have merit. Thanks for the tip.

I like your choices for the image just as it is -- especially the tonality of the black engine and white steam, as well as the brighter leading curves of the rails. At first I thought it needed a bit more light, but the more I studied it the more I realized the lighting focused my eye right on the main subject. |

I'm always glad when someone posts a photo of a place I've not heard of. Went to the website to read about Nisqually. I have a fondness for wetlands -- they are so important to the future of so many species. I like the way the boardwalk winds through the area, and especially the contrasting lines and curves it makes. The people are at just the right point where the railings do not hide them. Also I think including some space to the right of the trees gives an idea of the expanse of the estuary. |

As Brian mentioned, this is a good photojournalism photo. I like the way the chain-link fence spotlights the watchers yet gives a glimpse of the activity on the highway. |

I think you really caught the spirit of the season. I really like the arrangement and placement of the bunnies and eggs. I thought it might be nice to have some bluebonnets in the foreground, so I played with it a little in the thumbnail. |
