I find this to be a very artistic representation of the flower. I like that you used the colors of the flower to create the background. In one way it gives the impression that the flower is embedded in a great field of similar flowers and you used a shallow depth of field to render them in soft focus, but I like the addition of the tones from the base of ornage-red petals. |

I like the way you captured the immensity of the equipment compared with the person, the fence, and especially the lawnmower. Also the grinding dust helps convey the conditions for the worker. |

I really like the colorful blankets and robes against the desert sand. I too would like just a bit more sky, although I can see that the stark blue barrenness of the sky might not add much in itself - just give a little extra breathing room above the heads. |

I've always found these hard to capture. I think you did a great job with the color and depth of field, especially where you can see down into the interior pink parts of the outer green leaves. |

I like the way you framed it with the white buildings against the black mountain and the orange-red buildings against the gray-blue sky. |

I see swirling galaxies, whirlpools, all from a simple flower. Hooray for your creative use of Photoshop. I like all three images. Our photo club just had a black and white challenge, and I think you would have walked away with the honors. Hope you are well -- I can see you are keeping productively busy. |
