25 Sep 18 Comment I agree it's a beautiful picture, and congrats on winning with it. At first I found it hard to imagine a world where a reflection would be such a bright gold and yellow. I still do, but I can certainly appreciate what we can do with our post-processing tools, and love the artistry of improving on mother nature. Sep 24th
25 Sep 18 Comment I would like to see a little more light on the feathers of the goose. And since I'm not a fan of vignettes that are noticeable, I'd suggest not letting the corners go so dark. Sep 24th
25 Sep 18 Reply I like the idea of the 1 pixel stroke. I think the idea to create a panorama is a good one, but for me it would give a different feel to the viewer. Sort of like getting two photos for the price of one. I might print it both ways before I decide whether to use it at my camera club. Sep 24th
25 Sep 18 Comment I like the framing just as it is. It gives me the feeling that I'm watching him run and run and run to keep up with the kite. With less space on either side it would seem more static instead of giving that sense of movement. I also notice that the trees in the background show a tiny bit of motion blur, which at first bothered me, until I realized it actually enhanced the sense that he was running with the kite. Sep 20th
25 Sep 18 Comment I like the effect of the rich colors and overall sharpness -- gives it a postcard look. I especially like the sense of perspective that having the two people in the foreground and middle ground give with the rest of the people receding in size into the background. Sep 20th
25 Sep 18 Comment What a neat idea for a selfie. I'm intrigued that you were able to get everything you wanted in the picture. I especially like the way the focus is sharper for you and the main blossom in the left, and I think you did quite a nice job of handling the glare on your glasses. Sep 20th
25 Sep 18 Reply I think your version is very beautiful, but it is a completely different effect, as only the edges of the clouds were pink. But the more I look at it, the more I hope to wake up one morning to a sky that looks like that. Sep 19th
