It's definitely an eye catcher. Focus is good and the jets angled was a good choice. Only minor comment is would a little more free space in front of the jets improve the composition? Of course I have never attempted to photograph jets. |

Neat image. Your description really adds interest to the scene. The placement of the young lady on the right side looking back to the waves make for a unique image. You used the softness/blur of the scene to capture the remaining effect of the storm. Interesting image and story. Good job. |

What you selected to render sharpness worked out well. The texture is very intriguing. Agree with the need for room at the top, but there could have been something that really distracted from the scene and had to be removed. Has an abstract appearance to it. Neat! |

You definitely captured the "golden hour". The irrigation system draws you to the farm in the background. The image has a lot of depth to it, Irrigation system to the hills/mountains in the background. Very pleasing photo. Good job. |

Your creativity really comes out in this image. The model appears as a ghost, turning around to look at the photographer. A fun photo one can study. |

Interesting petrol pumps. You did a good job of creating a photo that takes one back in time and makes one wonder what things were like, what kind of vehicle is driven, does the station owner come out to fill up the tank and check the oil, etc. When I see old tanks I wonder does the fuel contain lead and are there leaking underground tanks below the pumps. Your image has created a lot of interest. Nicely done. |

Yikes! What remains of this tree looks like something out of a sci fi movie. The image shows a lot of depth from the flowers back to the clouds at the horizon. Once again, you have an eye for the unusual. What was your first thought when you saw this stump? |

I had to laugh while reading your story. I often stop to capture a photograph while my friends and relatives keep moving and say, "He's just taking a picture, he will catch up." Of course they are later impressed by the photo I took. I have a feeling your group was also impressed by this photo of a scene they drove by, but never noticed how beautify the area was. It's the good eye of the photographer that photographs areas others never noticed. Your description really lays out the story. Good job! Question, as a photographer, do you often stop to catch a photo only to be left behind in the dust? |

It's always good to have your camera or in this case phone, with you. Good eye to observe the rainbow appearing to anchor itself on the boat. Good placement of the low horizon. Not sure what those steps(?) are for, but they add scale to the scene. Nicely down. |

Your description really enhances the story of this photo, so to speak. The angle connects an area that once was an industrial setting to what is now a recreational area. The angle provides a good view of the water. I agree with Jerry, I often struggle when capturing water. Do I go low to create that unusual view or high to show more detail of flowing water. Did you experiment and try different water angles or were you pleased with this photo? |

First, I hope I got the description correct. Very strong focus that remains sharp despite the cropping. What really caught my eye was the flower and butterfly angles to the corners. This really makes for a stronger composition. I'm curious how many photos you took in order to capture this sharp image. Nicely done. |

Agree with Dick, you gave the image a very dramatic look over the original. Increasing the contrast gives it a very strong, three dimension appearance. I could probably start every description with "I started editing the image by using Snapseed." Good job. |

Thanks for the comments and good eye on the starburst. I wasn't sure if I enhanced the flare from the sun. With a closer look it appears as if I did. I am usually very careful with the starburst because to me, they can look kind of fake. Thanks again! |
