23 Jan 20 Comment Nice composition with placement of this unique land mass and exposure is perfect. Good job. Never been to NZ. Jan 30th
23 Jan 20 Comment Thanks for explaining. Jan 10th
23 Jan 20 Comment The original image does draw the eye in. The white clothe separates the person from the darker backdrop. In terms of the various filters, they are certainly unique. In terms of judging, the bright colors may bring in the judge's interest, but overall, I personally don't thing it will score well. Looking forward to see how this image scores. Jan 9th
23 Jan 20 Comment Anyone going through the O'Hare airport better have their camera ready. You did a good job with the composition, the bright lights, framing the edge with the walking escalators or what ever you call them, and catching a couple people to at the human interest. Jan 9th
23 Jan 20 Comment Neat capture. Definitely an eye capture. The cub's body language tells the story, mouth suggests it is growling, ears back, tail up. There appears to be a second set of back legs. Is the second cub hiding behind the other cub? Jan 9th
23 Jan 20 Comment Good choice in the tight crop eliminating the distracting background. It also seems to draw the viewer into the scene. I can see where you are having issues with the light spots, so many shades of the silver car. Jan 9th

51 Jan 20 Comment Nicely done. I have had zero luck in photographing fungus. Placing the fungus in an angle from corner to corner really increases the quality of the image. Jan 10th
51 Jan 20 Comment You definitely bring out the "frosty day" appearance. I didn't notice the plants in the lower right hand corner until Jerry brought it out. The reflection works well for this image. I was just curious if adding a bit of contrast and making the image slightly darker would improve the quality. Not sure, does that ruin the frosty look of the image??? Jan 10th
51 Jan 20 Comment Good photo. You managed to have the deer standout despite the deer's effort to blend in with it's surrounding. Wondering if adding a bit more contrast would improve the quality of the image slightly, just me. Jan 10th
51 Jan 20 Comment Great photo. My eye immediately went to Mt. Rainier, framed nicely by the bridge. I have also struggled with an increase in noise when I darken the sky. Will have to check out Jerry's advice. Thanks Jerry! Jan 10th
51 Jan 20 Comment Having your camera with you and ready to go saved the day. I even see a bit of a second rainbow. Good job. Jan 10th
51 Jan 20 Comment Excellent photo. Everything is perfect, the composition, exposure, and sharpness. Nicely done. Jan 10th
