4 Aug 19 Comment Very interesting photo. The photo invites one in to see what all the people are up to. You saw the potential for a photograph and captured it nicely. Aug 11th

5 Aug 19 Comment Very creative and "fun" photo. Exposure, composition, use of shallow depth of field, all good. I prefer to include the horse, but that's just me. Nicely done. Aug 11th

6 Aug 19 Comment WOW! This is an awesome photo, definitely a wall hanger. Stuart did a great job of reviewing the photo.

Close-up photography is something I just don't seem to have patience for. I am impressed by all the images posted here this month.

7 Aug 19 Comment This draws my interest on the person, who is he, what is his story. All the elements (birds, boardwalk, seats, etc.) work together nicely. This might do well in a photojournalism contest. Aug 11th

17 Aug 19 Comment As a Grand Canyon Hiker, this image caught my eye. Really interesting composition that captures the depth of the canyon, both vertical and horizontally. Nicely done. Visit us at DD51. Aug 4th

23 Aug 19 Comment An example of always having a camera with you and ready to use. Good sharp image that captures movement. Nicely done. Aug 11th
23 Aug 19 Comment Strong sharpness throughout the image. The composition is pretty busy, but that is typical for this subject. To me, a carousel is probably something everyone has rode in their life, and to come upon this image, one would like to stop and reminiscent a childhood memory. I think this would do well in a contest. Good luck. Aug 11th
23 Aug 19 Comment I've been known to take photos of displays in stores as well. You cleaned up the image nicely. As one who loves M&M's, this photo is an eye catcher. Aug 11th
23 Aug 19 Comment Good strong image. Good use of shallow depth of field. The pink and green colors seem to compliment each other. Nicely done. Aug 11th
23 Aug 19 Comment What a precious image. This low key photo as I see it, is outstanding. I wouldn't change a thing. Aug 11th
23 Aug 19 Comment On a tour boat. Aug 10th

26 Aug 19 Comment Quite a verity of subject matter throughout the group with quality photos. Jose, the colors in this scene really draw the eye in. All buildings are reasonably straight from end to end. Good choice with the panorama format. Overall, nicely done. Come visit us at DD51 Aug 4th

51 Aug 19 Comment Thanks for clarifying. Aug 5th
51 Aug 19 Comment Good example of negative space. The area where the water is brighter really makes the birds stand out. You accomplished what you attended to do. Good job. Aug 4th
51 Aug 19 Comment Way to hang in there with the DSLR photographers. The bright orange and blue colors compliment each other nicely and really catch the eye. Good choice of more of a landscape dimension. One minor suggest would be to add a bit more space for the swimmers on the right. Overall nicely done. Aug 4th
51 Aug 19 Comment The components make for an intriguing image, a mobile home used as an office, stacks of cinder block, and a padded office chair. Makes me wonder what the storyline is here. Nicely done.

Have a good and safe trip.

51 Aug 19 Comment Neat image. The rolling field really makes for a great photo. I agree with Bob about the darkened sky. I have experienced the same thing while using Snapseed's HDR. Given that, the Snapseed HDR can save an image. Still overall a wall hanger! Aug 4th
51 Aug 19 Comment Thanks for visiting and your comments Stephen! Aug 4th
51 Aug 19 Comment Your creativity has kicked into full blast and there is no cure! Interesting image with many things going on. Keeps the eye busy. Aug 4th
51 Aug 19 Comment At times people get so excited that they tend to ignore others. Oh well, you created a neat photojournalist shot with the photographers in the foreground. Plan B so to speak worked out nicely. The black and white goes good with the vintage train. Aug 4th
51 Aug 19 Comment Hi Bob, Since I started out almost black and white I didn't give it a second chance. Will have to try it.

The joke about Scotland is that it rains twice a week. Once the rain lasts three days and once four days.

71 Aug 19 Comment Just an awesome image that will carry the remembrance of your mother. You managed to capture a photo in tough lighting conditions. The bright area near the top of Rainier is a sign of a new day. Nice job. Aug 11th

74 Aug 19 Comment This one worked both ways. Aug 5th
74 Aug 19 Comment Hi Pam, Nice example of using a shallow depth of field to your advantage. Although this is a monochrome site, I still like the color version better. Nice shot either way. See you around DD51! Aug 4th

76 Aug 19 Comment Very strong images throughout your group! Since I like to bike, I will select this photo to comment on.

The redundancy of the row of bikes and bright colors really draw the eye in. The square format is perfect for this composition. Nicely done. Come visit us in DD51.
