Hello, just stopping in. Very interesting photo. Agree with Steven, blurry people and umbrellas crossing the street while the buses wait, make for a very strong photo in the photojournalism category. Nicely done. |

Very soft almost pastel image. Very soothing to the eye. The tree and shadow appear to be pushing on the left side of the frame. That is very minor and just my opinion. Overall a very pleasing photo to view. |

Oh the days of photographing weddings with harsh midday lighting. You managed to hold the bridesmaid's faces well enough to show expressions. Given the lighting, nicely done. |

Interesting bird. The bird is nice and sharp while the ripples in the water make the bird pop off the page. With a 1/1600 shutter speed, may I suggest for future reference, reduce the shutter speed some. This will allow a lower ISO setting. Overall, a neat photo with a very unusual bird. |

Once again Richard, you have a unique creativity. The blue-gray colors have a lot of interesting shapes to it. I agree with Shirley, the image would be improved without the highlights in the plastic. |

The pose and high contrast make for a dramatic image. Perhaps remove the pier on the left side. The color image is really nice. You managed to stop the dancer in motion. Good job in capturing images in harsh lighting conditions. |

There is a story in the photo. The boat captain chatting with what appears to be dock hands, and what might be his wife waiting to move on. Definitely draws your interest. I darkened the photo slightly. |

Thanks for the comments. Update: The enlargement has arrived. I had the lab add a slight texture to the photo which I often do and all is well! Now I need to find a place to hang it on one of the walls in our house. |

Very creative photo. The flower, reflection, and lily pad compliment each. I agree with Cindy on slightly toning down the bright petals. Other than that, a wall hanger for sure! |

With the original photograph and edited version, you have created two different images. The original image has the look of a depressing, operating prison, perhaps solitary confinement. Only experiencing natural light during part of the day.
The second image brings out detail and texture of a building long abandoned. Two images from one, nicely done. |

The colors and texture make for a very inviting photo. The elevated train tracks, support structure, fencing on the right, directed me to the tower in the background (also nicely framed). Overall, the photo invites the viewer in to explore the scene. |

I like to bounce around and visit different groups, pick out one photo to comment on, and move on. However, I found all the photographs here to be so interesting, I will provide brief comments on them all! Come visit us on DD51.
The tight cropping works well here. The focus carries through all the horses. Since it appears the horses were on the move, this was a challenge. Nicely done. |

Yet another creative image. The ground surface appears to mirror the sky colors and shadows. Very interesting! The colors and texture add depth to the image inviting the viewer in the scene at your own risk. "..... You just crossed over into the Twilight Zone". |

Creative abstract. Never would have guessed the original image was taken of a vehicle's rearview mirror. This image plays tricks with the viewer's brain. Is the spiral going up or is the spiral going down. A fun and creative image. |

This image definitely says "Chicago". Bright midday sun is always tough. I find the clouds ok. A partly cloudy sky in the windy city allows the sun to appear off and on. The skyscrapers framing the image and the river curve in the lower corner and in the distance adds interest to the image. Good job. |

Yes, coffee shops can get were busy and loud in the mornings. Once again, you found that special opportunity for a photo and captured it well. You have the ability to approach people and with one photo capture part of their personality.
This is a very intriguing photo. The eye contact with the camera, smile, and hand signal(?) are interesting. Together does it say "all is well"? Yes, hope you gave her a copy of the photo. |

I believe this is the Grand Prismatic Spring. I'm with Jerry, I now want to go back to Yellowstone for the 3rd time! Very interesting scene, patterns, texture, including the walkway to add depth, all good. Definitely a wall hanger! Good use of a selfie stick. |
