Excellent pose with strong exposure. Black and white gives it an feeling of days gone by. Given the size of the print its hard to determine if there was too much texture. Would like to have seen a bit more light on his left shoulder. |

Very interesting collage. You hold the focus on the dancers and blur out the background. This really draws your attention to the dancers. The various hues of blue make for a neat image. Nicely done. |

You bring out the unique shape of the trees (cypress?). Going back to a scene can give you a completely different perspective. The triangle shape of the trees and vegetation makes for an interesting image.
When you described this as an evening shot, I darkened the image to give it more of a twilight look. Your thoughts........ |

This image draws the viewer into the scene. Jim peering towards the front of the boat, hands in pockets, snowing. Gives a feeling of dampness, cold, and curiosity. Composition is very strong. You added enough of the light sky to emphasize the weather, but not too much to make it a distraction. Definitely a wall hanger! |

This image screams "Cold". The wagon, fence, trees, barns, sky and of course the snow, all compliment the photo. You did a good job with the composition and correcting the snow brightness. |

Just visiting. You managed to tame the high contrast scene quite well. Lot of depth to the image that invites one to explore deep into the scene. Nice image! Years ago with a film camera I capture an image of Park Avenue. Unfortunately, the shadows were much too dark. |

I understand your comments about extensive editing and then pushing adjustments too far. Good placement of the straight horizon. The textures and hues in the sky works well. Curious if a bit more contrast would make the trees stand out more. Not sure..... Excellent creativity in making this image. |

Viewing the image I kept waiting for the robe to move. The texture works well with the scene. Your story adds to the freakiness of the photo. Nicely done. |

Well, you managed to use the 2 minutes wisely and captured a neat image. Adding the contrast makes the image POP! The contrasting background on the fence and shadow works to perfection. |

Nice image, almost a painting appearance. Strong composition with the bend in the Virgin River pulling the viewer into the scene. Clouds really help things out considering most days in southern Utah the sky is clear of clouds. |

What I enjoy about the digital dialogue groups is how people view an image.
I have used Nik Color Efex. Haven't tried light centre dark exterior. Will have to check it out. Thanks.

Nicely done. Flower has a metallic, silver look to it. The simply subject really stands out. Wouldn't change a thing! |
