Always a learning curve with new software, upgrades, etc. One more question, which bird was the winner?😀 |

Typically a busy scene makes for a confusing photo, but in this case all the "stuff" in the scene tells a story about the lives of people you encountered. The man in the image adds the human perspective/interest to the photo. Good job! |

Your awareness gave you an opportunity to capture this battle between the herons (Great Blue Herons?). The image has areas that are blurred to show motion. The main components of the birds are the eyes and beaks. You were able to hold the focus here. Bird's plumage are typically more colorful during breeding season. Given that, the herons feathers in this case seem to be a bit over saturated. Would like to hear what others think on this issue. Overall, a good composition of a subject that wasn't holding still for a photo. |

Good choice on the panoramic format. This is a challenging photo to determine how the horizon should be placed (proper angle). To me, you nailed it. The bright lighting of the water front contrasts nicely with the dark water and cloudy sky. |

Yes that definitely is a heavy crop. The shape of the skier and the expression adds interest. Very sharp. Wonder if including a blurry background to show speed would improve the photo some. Not sure if that was even possible given the distance and cropping. Brian? |

You took a very simple subject and turned it into an interesting photo. The bright light still holds enough detail and the shadows from the lamp's construction is maintained. The texture almost reminds me of stucco. Nicely done. |

Just with native iPhone7 camera with minor adjustments in Snapseed and removal of a couple items on Touch Retouch. |

Low angles always seem to work the best. The conflicting colors of blue and brown work well. The texture makes for a more dramatic sky. Nice composition with the clouds angled directly towards the opening in the branches. |

Thanks for the comments. When I saw the red stop sign I knew this would be something I needed to capture. Sometimes images are just handed to you. Chance favors the prepared mind, so to speak. |

I see this creative image in an upscale hotel or resort lobby. Very abstract and keeps the mind busy sorting out the various components. The various colors and hue make for a very pleasing image. Nicely done.......again! |

It almost appears as if the gentleman with the hat is detached from the wall, i.e. in front of the wall. Bright colors on murals make them really stand out. Given that, the BW adds drama. The lady and the dog adds the human interest and scale to the mural. Several unique elements here wall, mural, fire escape, and the lady and dog complement each other. While exploring the image, the eye eventually is rewarded by finding the lady and dog on the edge. |

Creativity is really neat. Red and yellow colors really stand out. Enlarged and hung on a wall would make a great eye catcher. |

Recycled materials are rarely clean. Hence, the dirty, grungy effect works well here. The random pile of bottles and jars make for an excellent composition. Put the blue ribbon on it now! |
