The main image much improved over the original. I agree sun bursts in moderation are fine. The sun burst in this image is fine and really draws your attention. Good texture in the bare rock contrasts nicely with the snow. |

Sharp, strong hues, complimentary background, and the two buds make for an excellent image. Congratulations on the photo contest. |

I prefer the original better. You were fortunate enough to weather the storm and capture an image without a ton of people in the scene. Definitely a wall hanger. Been to the canyon many times on hiking trips. |

When I show this image to people who are not photographers, they seem to really like it. I appreciate the comments from true photographers. |

Frost gives it almost an infrared look. If possible, I wonder how it would look if you moved to left placing the Church a bit more off center.Otherwise, you were definitely out at the right time to capture this frosty scene. |

Clouds in the foreground add depth to the image and makes for an unique sunset.Palm trees add scale to the image. Afraid to say this, but I use my iPhone more than my pricey DSLR equipment. |

Just stopped in for a visit. Glad I did, you have a lot of creativity in your group. Enjoyed seeing your neat Door County image. I believe all the trees have been cut back away from the road now. - Dave (DD51) |

Bob definitely has a knack for creating images that invite us into the scene and make I wonder what is around the corner. |

Jerry thanks for the tips on the Video 2 app. I have it, but like so many other apps, I never get around to using them. |

Good photojournalism even from a moving bus. You captured the tough life of a person trying to make a living along with the contrast of a western world Coca-cola sign in the background. Hope to see more India images in the future!

Some of the components in the original are dark and lack texture. You were able to bring out just enough of the color and texture to greatly improve the image. Good catch! |

Strong composition, sharp image. The bare trees and warm clothing implies cold weather. Snow will come soon enough. Happy Holidays! |

Another inviting image Bob. The black and white is more dramatic. The silo adds scale and depth to the image. On the down side, this version diminishes the color of the triangular shape (lighter tan) to the right of the trail. |

Very neat image with a watercolor look. I will have to play around with Waterlogue. I haven't used it in a long time. Sorry to say there was probably nobody home to help you with directions! |

Yes Bob, I remember too. After seeing the ads on TV, it was quite a treat when our parents took us into Madison, WI to get a 15 cent burger! The signs quickly changed from 1 million sold and up. Finally, the sign simply read Millions and millions sold.
Jerry, this image tells a story and brings back wonderful memories. Thanks!

Here is the technique:
Ensure your software is iOS 11 or above. Set the camera on "Live" (center top of camera screen). Hold the camera still (I typically use a tripod or sturdy camera on rock, etc.) a couple seconds before and after image is captured. View image from file. Slide screen up from bottom to top. At the bottom you will see under Effects, Loop, Bounce, Long Exposure. Tap Long Exposure and wait for the flowing water to turn into a smooth silky appearance. When capturing the image be sure to leave extra space on the sides of your subject as this process will crop the image slightly.
