I think your composition is close. A camera angle lower and more to the left would have placed the statue's face in a better location, and would have been framed by the horizontal branches. Of course not being there I have no idea if you could have moved to the left. Just my humble opinion. |

Interesting patterns that lead you through the image. Fun story to go with it. Is the sharpness soft or did this occur when loading an image that is too small? |

One question: Does the image create an emotional response from the viewer? Answer: Heck Yah!!! |

Agree with the comments. Image could be used to show several rules of composition. Catching the person at the end of the walkway adds scale and a touch of photojournalism. |

I made an attempt to crop the image as suggested. Not sure I did it correctly. Certainly makes for an interesting image.
Sherry, this image is from Horicon Marsh in southern Wisconsin. |

All the components fit together nicely. Found myself studying each and every item. Strong composition and very neat hue. |

First, welcome! I've been with this group for several months now. Lot of very knowledgeable photographers.
Now for the image. Awesome! Colors and partly cloudy sky make this image a wall hanger. |

Thanks for the comments Pam. This was hand held. The early morning light was perfect. This sunflower heads were huge so I didn't have to get super close. |

Excellent composition. Since lizard's feet are very unique it was important to retain the entire foot in the image. Very strong sharpness. |

Great composition with the road curving to the right. Makes the viewer wonder what is around the bend. A grizzly? The soft focus in the lower corners (from editing) to me are a bit distracting, but that is just a personal choice. Since no one else has commented on it, I may be a little picky. |

This image screams Colorado in the fall season. Placing the aspen in the foreground adds a great deal of depth to the image. |

The black and white adds a high level of drama to an already strong image. I'm waiting for the headless horseman to ride by! |

Nicely done. It is a perspective of pumpkins you don't often see. Different is good! |

I accidentally placed the main image in the original slot and couldn't remove it. So disregard the original image. |
