Good eye in finding this mushroom. It stands out nicely with the dark background, the angle adds interest. Hard to determine with low resolution files, but the white top portion of the mushroom appears to have a sharpness issue. |

Timing is everything at Yellowstone. The image has many layers adding depth to the scene. Great placement of the geyser. Nicely done. The clouds add a lot of drama to the photo. I would have liked to have seen an image with a lower horizon adding more of the sky. |

What really makes this image is the bridge starting in the lower right corner. It invites the viewer into the scene. I tend to agree with Richard on the cropping. |

WOW! Very bright flowers, catches the eye. What is really cool about this image is the small red flower in the lower right hand corner begging for attention. Not sure what that out of focus thing is in the top center. Excellent composition. |

Typically, photos of old equipment and buildings are in black and white. In this case, the colors make for an interesting scene. I see what you mean about cropping, but unfortunately a better angle for the shot would have put you directly on the railroad tracks! I think it's fine as is, keeping the fence and tracks on the left side. |

Sounds like you were looking to photograph a particular subject, but were observant enough to allow this image to be captured. The darker heron really stands out nicely from the foam on the water. Keeping enough of the grass in the foreground really helps give it more depth. Moving the heron farther to the left may have improved the overall composition. Your thoughts... |

Nope no animals just weird rocks. I has told the light tan colored rock in the lower right looked like a turkey ready for the oven. |

Black and white makes for a very dramatic image. Nicely done. Perhaps a brighter interior may have improved the image. Tough lighting though. Looks like a scene from an Alfred Hitchcock movie. |

The lighting and sharpness really make this a very cool image. Good choice in placing all the components on an angle. Very simple subject that tells a part of a story from a time long ago. We expect to see an image of a ghost next month! |

Definitely an eye catcher. The person walking adds scale and that journalistic element. Colors are great. Its ok to have a lazy month as long as you create images like this! |

Good choice of texture and hues. Makes me feel as if I'm standing there, part of the image. Haven't heard that about text, but I have to agree, possibly on a subconscious level. Good capture. |
