Both are very nice. Of the two I prefer the second one only because her smile seems better to me. |

Overall you captured a cool action shot. I'm sure they player would really like it. I agree with the comments above. Given that, this is a very fast game and the image shows your strong photographic skills. |

The simplicity of the cropped images really emphasize the saguaro cacti and makes for a better composition overall. Given that, my wife decided on this Arizona image to enlarge and hang on the wall. Who am I to overrule my wife's decisions? :-) Thanks for the comments. |

The composition including the canal and angled shoreline work well together, adds a good perspective. You definitely captured the weather as described. Good placement of all three windmills. Including the entire windmill closest to you may have improved an already good image. |

Good timing with this image, the boy racing forward while the girl is not so sure. You got me surveying the image waiting for that ghost to appear. Nice capture. |

Contrast, leading lines, perspective all good. The angle chosen adds to the uniqueness of the image. |

The gritty face suggests toughness, experience. Agree, a different background (lighter?) may make this gentleman really stand out. |

Thanks all for the comments. We were at a restaurant being lead to our table when I got distracted by this cactus. My wife at times will roll her eyes at me when I do stuff like this :-) Interesting that I have seen many images from this group that involve restaurants, combining food, beverage, and photography. Many wildflowers, desert plants, and cacti were beginning to bloom by mid-March in the Phoenix area. End of March is usually a better time, except for the saguaros which don't bloom until mid to late May through early June. |

Strong composition with the placement of the fountain, people add a photojournalism touch. The entire scene is directing the viewer into the image, the sidewalk, concrete, trees on both sides. Also, overcast days can have awful skies for taking photos. You managed that issue quite nicely. |

The colors in the original are a bit flat. But no worries, the Painteresque app worked well here. The tree allows the arched window to peak through adding interest. Yes, evening/twilight image would interesting to see. Did I just give you an assignment???? That's a first for this group :-) |

Excellent image. The table invites the eye to see what's happening outside. Good exposure in a very high contrast scene. |

When I opened the image from your email, it immediately jumped out at me. Very creative! Agree with Bob's comment about the mystery of the image. |

Good choice on low angle, great hues and exposure in tough lighting. |
