I haven't used the polar coordinates filter much, so I'm not an expert on it. I must say that I can still recognize the building, mainly due to the railing, but I can no longer recognize the bus - that is, if I had not seen your original image I would not know there is a bus in your final image. I still like the symmetry, shapes, colors and patterns though, and perhaps the main interest lies in the mystery of it all. If that was your intention, I'd say that you've succeeded! |

I immediately recognize the knife in your composite image. That is my focal point. I like the colors that are superimposed by the leaves, but I think I would like it better if the colors were only within the shape of the knife and not outside of the knife. Perhaps just the knife with a solid black background and colors within the knife would make for a stronger image. |

Aww, what a cute little spider. Did you realize that he seems to be missing his left (our right) hind leg? I wonder what happened to it?
I love macro shots of little bugs, and I like to see as much detail as possible. You are showing quite a bit here, like the fuzzy hair, the missing leg and the web that seems to be coming out of his rear.
The filters you used bring out the colors without obscuring the details, so I think they work well. |

I like this a lot! You got good light on the cat and he cooperated to get you a great portrait. The B&W works well and the brush effect gives it an artistic look. You can tell it's software and not real brush strokes, but it still moves me.
I'm interested in the software, so I looked at the Akvis website. I see that they offer quite a few products, and this one looks most like the airbrush. Is that the one you used? Some of their other products look interesting also. Which ones did you purchase, and which do you recommend? |
