Long, long time ago - 1991 and 1992. Those were good years and I was invincible then, lol! |

While the extruded effect of your final image is somewhat interesting, I really find your image #2 to be most interesting. I like the weathered texture of the bricks and shutters, the broken windows and the rich colors in your image #2. |

Good job in freezing the action. I like to see the dirt from the horses feet flying up in the air. Looking more closely, I can see the ripple-tone muscles of the horses. The panel cropping works very well. Nice rich colors and nice job overall. |

The glowing edges filter really brings out the details in the stamens and texture of the flower. Good choice, I like it a lot. |

Well, at least this guy has the good sense to wear a helmet, not like the other daredevil cowboy in Carol's image!
I think you've done very well to eliminate most of the distractions and replace them with the wall and sky that blend into the image fairly well.
Not sure about the foliage that's growing on the top of the wall, it seems a bit out of place in the western cowboy scene. If possible, I would try to eliminate the foliage.

I think you did a good job in your selection of the leaves and blending it into the image of the workshop. I am wondering though, what does the combination mean and what should I make of it? I don't recognize the tool that is on the shelf, so I am wondering what that is, and the leaves are only obscuring it and not giving me any clue as to what it is. The leaves are pretty and the colors go well with the wood and stone in the workshop, but the combination still leaves me a bit confused. Sorry, that is my overall impression, I hope I'm not being too harsh, or maybe I'm just not seeing what you intended for me to see in the image. |

What I really want to know is how this guy managed to keep his hat and sunglasses on and neatly in place while wrestling with that bull??? Unbelievable!!!
Very good job in getting this shot, and in eliminating the distracting background elements. When I look close on my computer monitor, I can still see just a couple of little bits of the background that still faintly show through - one above the bull's tail and the other above the cowboy's hat. I'm sure that you can get rid of those pretty easily with a little more cleanup work. |
