I like this. The colors and light contrast work well. The layers draw my eye upward in the image and the impressionistic processing technique makes a nice, normal landscape unique and much more interesting. Nicely done. |

This is a good story telling image. I'd like to see a bit more light on the girl and a slightly more shallow depth of field to eliminate some of the background. But at f2.8 you were as shallow as possible. Very nice. |

This is a very expressive image. I think it should be on a Galapagos travel magazine. The action is captured well from the body language of the seal and pelican to to waves in the background - all without being too busy. The subjects are well placed in the frame. Little things like the rock behind the pelican kept within the frame allow the viewer to move around in the image without abrupt barriers to visual flow. The catch light in their eyes add personality. Great timing, great layers, great leading lines and balance in the frame, great use of light, shadow and texture. |

Wow that's a really creative technique and you pulled it off well. Even the detail in composition is well done.. The flower petals do not impinge on the lilly pads. The focus is sharp on both flowers and the perspective angle is consistent. The only thing that gives this away is the lack of reflection or shadow on the flower on the right. The stem also looks a bit different from the context of the other subject components. That's only noticeable because I'm looking for hints of your multiple exposure. |

I like the B&W as well. This is a neat perspective and shows you have a creative eye. The composition is good. Focus is good, light and shadow all work well together. The vertical portrait format works well. I felt the transition from the table to background should be at the base of the larger trees on the right side of the frame and in line with the top of the patio wall just revealing the snow on th top of the wall. A bit lower angle might help make the dividing line more comfortable. All in all a very cool image. |

Very nice! The focus is tack sharp, depth of field isolates the fawn while allowing for sense of environment the expression and catch lights in both eyes provide character and expression. A bit of negative space in the upper left corner but I don't have a good solution for that. Processing or composite layering would likely ruin the image. Catching this fawn in a bed of prairie flowers would be special. |
