This is really nice Lisa. You have captured a decisive moment and demonstrated the flexibility and creativity that a good street photographer needs. The exposure is good, framing, lines, juxtaposing of the gate, pyramids and human form with the umbrella are intriguing and tell the story. If you could have shot this from a slightly lower angle to include the peak of the pyramid at the center of the frame it may have felt more complete for me. But I think this is a really special image. |

This composition is great. The leading line along the right side of the image draws my eye to the monument and fireworks. The reflection is very good. Exposure is very good. I'm viewing this on my iPhone and the focus seems a little soft when I zoom in. Is that the case or is it just resolutionon my screen? You always do a great job of capturing DC. |

Now you're in my neck of the woods.... You've captured the theme of the sea caves and the scenic shoreline. The colts come through well. I think lightening the shadows to reveal texture in the caves might add to the image.
Next time you need to visit when you can walk out on the ice. I shot these caves once's at -15 degrees F and had problems with equipment freezing up. 😄 |

I like the cropped image. You've captured a decisive moment either great balance in composition and action. The frog under the umbrella has perfect character. |

I always like your still life and macro shots. This is a great example of line, color, texture, symmetry all enhancing a primary subject. Really all the critical components of composition. |
