I like the composition. Good use of layers. The pines on the island just left of center seem a bit soft. The lichen on the island is bright but that may be natural. I also wonder how it might look a bit different cropped from the left to eliminate some of the bright highlights beneath the mist on the downward slope of the mountain in the background. |

The bright highlights are a bit blown out. I like the composition and I do like the contrasting halves of the image. Catching that plane to the left of the monument is special also. I like this shot. |

This is a very nice image. The human element makes the shot. The silhouette is very good you were able to catch some separation between her and the shadow or dark shaded area of the arch while keeping her in the shadow cast along the floor. It would have been a bit obtrusive had she been standing in bright light. Leading lines, contrasting composition the upward gaze and the upward composition components along with just enough intricacy really make this nice. If I were to criticize I'd suggest limiting the amount of ceiling that is revealed but frankly that gives the viewer a sense of the immense space. I can hear the chants echoing through these halls and out into the courtyard.. |

Very nice. well composed. Good focus on the eyes and beak. You caught a good expression on the bird as well. It's important for wildlife images to tell a story. This one seems to say "don't bother me I'm preening." |

I agree with the uniqueness of this image. The lighting is well done. I'd like to know how you back lit this scene. Symmetry, shading lighting focus are all good. The composition is interesting colors are well balanced. I like it. The jar with the bulbs being more brightly lit than the others also sends kind of a subliminal message. Its fitting that the bulbs are brighter.. |
