49 Feb 26 Comment As I view this photo I keep wondering if the sea gull is going to get wet. :-) The wave serves as a nice background for the sea gull. I'd suggest straightening the horizon. Consider cropping from the top about a third of the way down to put emphasis on the sea gull. Thanks for sharing! Feb 8th
49 Feb 26 Comment One of my favorite subjects are lighthouses. This view of Portland Head Lighthouse is from a position that I do not have. Mine is a night photo taken during the PSA Convention a few years back from the other side of the lighthouse. I like the composition, tack sharp from foreground to the lighthouse. Although I like the detail in the foreground, it does draw the eye away from the lighthouse itself. I would probably have cropped off the bottom of the photo to concentrate the viewers eye on the lighthouse. Thanks for sharing! Feb 8th
