One of the things that I enjoy about macro photography is the detail that the camera picks up that you would never have seen with eye. |

I really like this photo! I have photographed nearly 200 lighthouses and have never thought of a framing such as this.
I think I need a return trip to Washington as this lighthouse isn't in my collection.
Well done!! |

I agree that the highlights on the stem are distracting. I did try to reduce it in LRC, but it just turned grey and just did look right. I would have been better to reduce the exposure a tad when I took the photo. |

I like this image. As to B&W ... I think it would certainly work as a monochrome image, but I enjoy seeing the subtle shades of color in the mushrooms themselves. |

I love the intimacy that you have captured with the violinist. It makes me feel like I am right there beside her. The changes that Craig suggests add to the intimacy that you have captured. Well done! |

I too like this image. I would suggest cropping in a bit from the right to remove some distractions in the background.
This is a scene that I missed when I was in the Palouse a couple years ago. Thanks for sharing! |

Not too much that I can add. I love the bright colors of the birds against the more neutral colors of their surroundings. And they are tack sharp. Very nice! There are distracting elements. The wood on the left side has already been pointed out, but I would like to point out the stick in the upper right. It is quite sharp and I find that it attracts my eye away from the beautiful birds. |
