I like this photo. It captured my attention and drew me in for a much longer look. The bright mural (graffiti?) in the center captures and holds the eye. At the same time the brick wall and the details in the ceiling are very sharp and possess very fine detail, but because it is all a very similar subdued color, it is not detracting the eye away from the central mural. I would have expected the colorful graffiti on the right to draw my eye away from the central mural, but it just doesn't do that. I am really at a loss to explain this, perhaps it is the smaller size, perhaps the chairs in front of it. A very nice capture! |

I like it! I am curious though ... were you successful in eliminating shadows? Or did you remove unwanted shadows in post processing? If not required in post processing, I'd say you did an exemplary effort at the time you took the photo.
This doesn't seem like a finished photo to me. It seems like it is just part of a larger project. For example, this could be a "frame" around a portrait. |

You have done a very nice job at capturing the viewers eye with the glowing red glass. I would crop off from the right. Except for the red spot, it is mostly devoid of detail and really isn't adding anything to your photo. In fact, I feel that it detracts from the artist blowing glass on the left side of the photo. By removing the right side of the photo, the glass blower will occupy more of the photo and will become a more important element of the photo. I think this will contribute to the story that you are trying to tell. |
