Re. artifacts ... thanks for pointing out the upper branches. I was just getting ready to submit this to a club salon. I will have to take a closer look at this. |

At first when I went from a D3s (12MP) to a D810 (36MP) I was not impressed until I made my first print and saw the detail that a high megapixel camera could capture. I thought why would I ever need more megapixels? Then I replaced the D810 with Z-cameras having 45MP. I love the ability to do an "extreme" crop and still have sufficient megapixels. The image shown here is 3110x3495 pixels, certainly enough for an 8 1/2 x 11 print. |

Thanks Josh. Yes, the high ISO of newer cameras is quite impressive. With the post-processing tools (Topaz or Lightroom's denoise) that we now have, I no longer hesitate to use higher ISO values. It took me a while to get to that pint though :-) |

I think I'd like to see a bit more of the environment around the waterfall to give context to the photo. I had to look at it a bit to see what it was that I was looking at. The rainbow is very bright and attracts the eye right away so context is missed until you look at the entire photo. |

Interesting comments on the slight off vertical as I would have corrected that. The description of what and the why of warning pad is interesting and certainly a comment on todays world. There is sufficient detail in the dark surroundings to give us a sense of the night scene being shoiwn to us.
Well done. |

This is a fun photo. I see two storks giving the third a piece of their mind. The third one even has a sourful look on its face.
As Josh mentioned, I would remove the tree branch on the lower right. |
