I agree that the fog is a key component of the scene. Recently on a trip to Lake Superior we witnessed the formation of "sea smoke", i.e. water vaper forming from the rather warm water of the lake to the much colder temperature of the air, this then condensed into fog. Yup, we had to delay taking photos of the dogs and grab a few foggy photos along the lake shore. |

One of the most difficult things to do in photographing a dog team is to get both the lead dogs AND the musher in sharp focus. The distance between them is so large that you just can't get that much DOF. When the team is further away it can be done, but not when they are as close as this. Consequently you need to emphasize one or the other and I will always opt for the dogs. |

This post intriqued me so I did some research with Google. I find that there are several manufacturers of water drop devices. I am curious which water drop device are you using? |

I too like the blue sky. It complements the color of the adobe quite well. |

I like how you have captured the beauty (even if it is a bit foggy) of the beach. Very nice beach scene! Thanks for sharing. |

You can easily take the lean out of the tower with Lightroom's crop tool. You might want to try adding some contrast to the photo and maybe even replacing the sky. Thanks for sharing. |

I love how you have highlighted the subject by blurring the background. I often have wanted to do the same and was never quite sure how to go about it. Well done! Thanks for sharing. |

I love how you captured and positioned the church in the image. The diagonal positioning gives it some dynamics. The sharp deep shadows definitely add to the image and are what first capture my eye. Very nice! Thanks for sharing. |
