49 Jul 22 Comment Another wonderful image from Hong Kong! Having never been to Hong Kong, it took me a while to realize that large colorful object in the center was the boat. I do like the story that you are trying to tell with the people in the lower left of the photo. I can see this as an excellent illustration for a news article about the end of an era. Jul 15th
49 Jul 22 Comment I like this photo, but I do wish the blue flower were not present. It is in sharp contrast to the yellow flowers (complimentary colors) and really pulls my eye away from the yellow flowers. I think the three flowers in the middle, arranged in the shape of a triangle are your subject. I would suggest trying to emphasize these flowers. Cropping in would do it, but there would be remnants of other nearby flowers so I don't think this would work too well. Jul 15th
49 Jul 22 Comment I know that you added the texture, but it is the first thing that I notice. I struggle with my own photos to be as noise free as possible doing what I can to eliminate it. The subject (where you direct the viewer's eye) seems to be people and life guard stand in the middle of the photo. I would prefer this to be not so much in the center. The horizon also seems like it cuts the photo in half. Both Craig and Josh have made excellent suggestions. Jul 15th
