Although I am using Helicon Focus to do my stacking, you can also use PhotoShop which I will assume you already have. I prefer HF because you do have some control over the final image and it is significantly faster than PS. Whatever software you use to merge the images, artifacts are likely to be introduced and you will be going to PS anyway to deal with them. |

Yeah, the sun is too hazy for a sunburst :-( I do like the silhouettes. What if you cropped right down the middle? You almost have two images here. The single bird on the right half (my preferred) and the two birds on the left. The two on the left would be great except I think the bright spot of the sun would detract. |

Do you mean like this? I think I prefer the original. The cropped version seems like it is "missing" something, like the blossoms are rising out of nowhere, they aren't anchored down. Appreciate your comments again :-) Or do you mean to crop in even farther? |

Not much that I can add to what has already been said - very nice image! I particularly like how you framed the city with the trees. Well done! |

Nice composition, blurred background so the subjects stand out, and I particularly like the eyes of the woman on the right looking at the woman on the left. As Fred pointed out, the subjects are blurred. Too slow shutter speed perhaps? |

I agree with Fred's nice comments about your image. I would try cropping from the bottom and the left. Taking Fred's suggestion about the tree merging with the border, I thought I'd try content-aware fill and see if I could expand the top. To my surprise it worked out quite well. Just some suggestions. |

Could you give us exposure info please? A recent first time attempt at photographing hummingbirds I quickly learned that HIGH shutter speeds are required, and that requires bumping up the ISO to high levels ... 2500 - 3200. I suspect that you had a fairly high shutter speed (wings appear stopped), but there is an overall lack of sharpness in the image. Was this heavily cropped so that it would fill the screen? |
