I will submit for next month a closer view of a daylily (different color). Let me know if you like the closer crop :-)
I LOVE the "Bee's eye" view of flowers :-) |

I have been "blessed" the past few days with very little wind. I have taken this opportunity to build up a collection of image stacks for later processing :-) |

I agree with Larry ... well done! The fence creates a rather unique frame to the photo. I like the barge in the foreground - it is like it is pointing to city. |

The water drops are from the early morning sprinkler. Glycerine? I had never heard of that. :-) |

I love this portrait! It kind of sets a mood that might be at home in a horror movie :-)

This is a really nice photo! Makes the viewer wish they were there with you.
Cropping is a good idea, but I think Larry went a bit too much. There is a merge with the reflection that I would avoid. |

Definitely captures the disappointment of your granddaughter :-( The lockdown has been particularly hard on children ... no school, no getting together with friends. |

I've been to Alaska a couple times (once followed my wife on a business trip) and always had a hard time returning. The first time was vacation, 6 weeks, we drove a camper towing an old 4WD Land Cruiser. We met some locals who took us to the backcountry seeing parts of Alaska that most tourists never get to. A vacation that we will never forget. |

I don't know too much about bears, but I assume they are youngsters having a fun time. Not unlike our own children :-)
I have to agree with Larry ... not much needed to improve this photo.
Nice capture! |

Choice of B&W is a good one. What makes this photo is the patterns, and that is emphasized by the monochrome treatment. Could the center of the photo be toned down a tad? It is a bit hot.
Your eye caught a nice subject. Well done.

Thanks Larry. I haven't yet tried providing a background. I may give that a try, or ... crop in lots tighter :-) The tiger lilies (I think that is what they are) will soon be blooming, so I am looking forward to having a go at them. The difficult thing with them is they hang their faces down so the camera has to be looking up. :-) |
