Thanks for pointing out the hot leaves. I will have to do something about that. As far as moving - I just didn't see it at the time.
I hope this one is better. I probably should have been using a polarizer. I don't think I was. |

I wish we had a larger image …
the slow shutter speed works to blur the motion of the water. The crabs add some interesting color to the image. |

Tom - can you give a bit more detail? I know nothing of the technique that you used. I will guess that the flower is white, but with the black lighting that you used, the camera caught it as purple? |

Very interesting capture! And I love the title! The high ISO does result in some "noise" that contributes to an overall softness to the image, a problem I continue to battle with my D810. |

Considering the harsh lighting, I think the "portrait" turned out quite well. The face is sharp and definitely draws the viewer in. I hardly notice the background. Cropping in very close as you did really concentrates on the horse. Well done. |
