Thanks for pointing this out. I never would have noticed this. After playing around with this image, it seems this to be an artifact of NIK HDR. I have redone the image using HDR merging in Lightroom. I no longer see this. I have also adjusted the white balance and enhanced the color in the river. Your comments appreciated. |

Interesting subject. I find the side of the bird's head rather dark (lacking detail as a result) while the back and side of the bird quite bright, thus attracting the eye. This is just the opposite of what we would like. |

Well chosen f-stop, the subject stands out well from the background, but still provides environment. The only thing that I find distracting is the out of focus highlight just left and above the bird's bill. |

My camera club has an agreement with the parks & rec department of a nearby city to provide photos in return we are provided meeting space. One of the events that we photograph is the weekly farmer's market. There is always a wide variety of subject from the colorful vegetables to people interacting to the band playing at the outdoor bandstand.
You have captured one of the prime activities - a vendor and her produce. The colors are bright, the vegetables look very appetizing :-) The vendor is well depicted.
Well done! |

JoAnn, I really like this. Its not something I would suggest doing very often, but it certainly perks up the "How'd she do that?" button! :-) Very cool, very well done. |
