Stephen - Thanks for including Panini's painting! Very interesting comparison. And I agree that it would be difficult to replicate with photography. |

I agree that the center of the dome is "hot" to an extreme. The difficulty in taking a photo here is the center of the dome is open. Yes, when it rains it rains inside the building!
I would think the only way to possibly address this with a photograph would be HDR. But there really is no detail here to capture anyway (overcast, it was raining earlier in the day), so you might as well let it burn out. I will see if I might be able to something. Thanks for the comment! |

Very nice! I particularly like the backlighting. The light colored bill and the highlight from the backlighting do a very good job of separating the bird from the background. Perhaps just a tad increase of exposure on the birds head/neck just to bring up the detail a bit. |

Talk about capturing the moment!! Well done. I don't think there is anything that I can suggest. |

Very well done! I assume you have already adjusted the texture, clarity and sharpening sliders. Other than that I don't think there is much you can really do for a digital image. It should look "tack sharp" as a large print though :-) |

Wow! Very impressive! And I think you have done an excellent job of capturing the moment and the post processing is very well done, certainly does not look sloppy to me :-) |
