As I mentioned to Cora about her photo, this makes me think "What Is It?" I very much like the close up, highly cropped image.
The colors and sharpness of the photo are exceptional. Well done! |

The shadow behind the model is a distraction. I do little of this type of photography, but have been told that one thing you can do is to place the model further from the wall behind her.
Beautiful dress, wonderful smile! I can certainly see why you wanted to take her photo! |

Wow! What a big change from the original. Excellently executed! The original is rather boring, but your post processing approach really brings it to life. |

This invokes thoughts of "What Is It?", a topic my club will have next year. I too would have thought like you did to render this as B&W, but the blue definitely gives it a cold feeling. I do have to agree with Marti about the white areas on the edges - they are a distraction.
When you do this again, please share with us! |

Thanks Graham. Yes, we will eventually make a book. Since we have photos of around 150 different lighthouses it will probably be multiple books :-) We just finished our first book - our trip to Ireland in 2017. It is lots of fun displaying our photos in that way. |

I agree with you about the signs. They are something we have learned to live with as all too frequently they are present at the lighthouses that we visit :-( |
