Thanks for the comments. I had the same from our local salon judge. If I have the opportunity I will make a return to this location. Since the building faces east, perhaps an early morning sun will light up the front of the building hopefully making the skulls easier to see. It is the skulls that make this building so interesting. |

Here I cropped in closer and removed several items with edit->fill->content-aware. I'm not saying this is the best, but it is something for you to consider. |

I am glad that you enjoyed your trip to South Dakota! There are many wonderful images to be captured in the out of the way, now abandoned locations that the prairie offers.
If you are happy with the cropping, you can probably remove the stick with edit->fill->content-aware. With the current cropping, I don't find the tire objectionable, but I am afraid that if you crop in from the right enough to remove the stick that then the tire would become objectionable and you would have to deal with that too. Cropping further may bring the truck too close to the edge.
You might try cropping in really close around the truck.

That too was my first impression - too busy. I think there are several images here. The first that comes to mind is to crop most of the bottom out to a panorama of the buildings and just a bit of the water near the shore. Additional cropping possibilities could be an individual building and its reflection, or detail of just a reflection with the ice.
Just some suggestions :-) |

VERY Interesting!! I particularly appreciated your description of how it was created.
