49 Jun 18 Comment You have done a remarkable job in capturing the beauty of Yosemite NP. The reflection is well rendered with the slow shutter speed - perfect!! Keeping the grasses in the foreground adds depth to the photo. The peak of Half Dome seems just a tad overexposed. You might try to hold this back just a bit. Otherwise this is a very well done landscape! Jun 17th
49 Jun 18 Reply Thank you for your very kind comments. I think that unless you have actually been to the prairie and experienced it, it is hard to understand and comprehend the vastness of it. I occasionally enter international exhibits and will likely submit this or one similar because it will be so different from what they would normally see. Jun 17th
49 Jun 18 Comment It is interesting how both Graham and I were struck with how "scary" this photo looks! It certainly is a different perspective of the subject. I do not object to the "scary" view; it is just one way to look at this subject. As Graham suggested, backing off would most likely be less "scary" but it wouldn't have the same impact that this view does; it would be entirely different. And both views would be entirely appropriate. Jun 17th

49 Jun 18 Comment This is a great photo! I recently was at Theodore Roosevelt NP photographing the wild horses - didn't see anything like this!

I wish the subjects were a bit sharper with a bit less noise, but still a great photo.
