49 May 18 Comment I have to chuckle a bit - my wife and I just returned from Badlands NP! We started with a workshop in Theodore Roosevelt NP (our first visit to the North Dakota badlands), then moved on to South Dakota before returning home. I now have some 3000+ photos to process in Lightroom :-(

Yes, the yellow mounds are that yellow. The colored bands make for very interesting landscape photos. We had a lot of rain and overcast skies on our trip. You did well being blessed with a nice blue sky with fluffy clouds.
