I never noticed the white on the nose until you pointed it out. I don't know what it is. Frostbite perhaps? Would that show as white sin? |

This is a very nice image. I particularly like how smooth the water is and how it reflects the sky.
I am not sure why folks say to not place the horizon in the middle. When I am presented with a scene such as this I find that I always ask myself should I move it up or down, not because I think I should, but because someone else said I should. The only thing I can say is to try a crop from the top and a crop from the bottom, then compare to this image with horizon in the middle and ask yourself which of the three do you like better. |

This is a wonderful image. Everything is absolutely tack sharp. The moth(?) and thistle bloom stand out from the background. There is absolutely no distractions. How did you do this? What is the background?
Very nice! |

This photo immediately grabs my attention - I too have a fondness for the Bird of Paradise flower.
But I am afraid this photo suffers from some rather severe shortcomings. It is overall too soft - I do not find any part of the subject that is sharp. The white pillar rising from the middle of the flower is very distracting. The foreground is distracting - try cropping this out. The leaf in the upper right is distracting the way it stands out from the blurred background.
Please accept my apology for being rather harsh. |

I like this photo a lot! Not sure what, if anything, I would do to it.
It is a bit of "Where's Waldo" photo, so some may suggest cropping closer to Andy, but I think it makes a nice pattern photo, with a very definite subject. |

Presenting this as B&W was a good choice. Definitely tells a story. You might want to enter it in "photojournalism". I would crop from the bottom. The blurry foreground is distracting and does not contribute to the story the image is telling. |
