49 Jun 17 Comment I definitely like the removal of the yellow cattail. Cropping in tighter is good. It really puts the emphasis on the bird. The placement of the bird is now quite good. I'm not a big fan of square photos, but leaving more space on the right kind of makes it off balance. Nice image! Jun 24th
49 Jun 17 Comment Oh such a sad face ... I love it :-) I think that Tom's suggestions all work for improving the image. The bottom third is not needed and removing it as Tom has shown does improve it. Jun 24th

49 Jun 17 Comment The wilting tulips are a subject that could easily have been passed by, but this is a beautiful photo. I love the color combinations and the composition. Very well done.

As Tom pointed out, a bit more DOF would be nice, but combatting the wind with a high shutter speed you did well under the conditions.		 Jun 24th
