Wow, talk about raising someone's curiosity! That definitely makes me want to climb the hill. |

That's too sullen and depressing for me. Looks like a day when I'd want to crawl under the comforter and hide. |

I think this is a really good capture of the Northeast in winter. I like what Bob suggested with the crop and the evergreens. I'd be tempted to walk over the hill and see what's on the other side. |

I really like this image. The only change I would suggest is Karen's crop to eliminate most of the large green bush. |

I think this is a pretty neat shot. I've tried double exposures occasionally but have never gotten a result I was happy with. Unlike the rest of the group, I like the music overlaying the instrument, which is what I think a composition does. |

This is pretty wild! Reminds me of the back of a throne in a sci-fi flick. I like it. I also like what Bob did to the colors. |

I'll definitely join the "likes the off season better" group - there are almost zero people at most places on the Jersey/Delaware beaches. If you have any interest in waterfowl, it's a great time to seek them out. I'm not a big fan of "smooth" water at the beach, so I like that you chose not to do that. |

Thanks Jim. I have very rarely gone looking for an abandoned location or vehicle I've read or heard about. It more likely that I'll pull off the road, or drive to the next opportunity to turn around and go back, and get some shots of an abandoned thing. I have PS Elements. Don't know anything about a mask? |

Thanks Bob. I have no idea what adding a radial spot means? It appears that you brightened the lighter parts of the rusted car? |

Thanks Judy. Believe it, or not, I tried to tone the grass down but couldn't get it done without screwing up the rusty car. There's an old truck lot near Richmond, VA? I was there last September on the way back from my nephew's wedding in Charleston. I Googled for photo ops and don't recall any truck lots popping up? I'll be passing there on the way back from Florida in early April. I'll have to see if I can find the location. |

I like the single color, the in-and-out-of focus and, really, everything about this image. I particularly like the way your focus resembles our eyes when we are focused on an object and know the other elements that are present even though we can't always see them clearly. Great capture! |
