I find cars interesting but difficult to photograph, particularly the interiors. Got a chuckle from Karen finding the clock the only thing in focus and Judy eliminating it! I applaud your effort, but, sorry to say, I have zero ideas to offer. |

I like the composition and story. I agree with Judy about the color and wonder if it's a result of what looks like a stark, cloudless sky? Nice to have you back. |

You're driving home the "look up - look down" mantra!! I like that you included the gkids in the scene and that it's off-center. Lots of curves and angles. Wonder if a vignette would add something? I might think about applying a burn to the bright area toward to upper right corner. |

Neat shot! I like the silhouetted people and darkened sea against the bright sun-lit sky. Nice composition. Find a spot on your wall for this!! |

I think this is a really neat story-telling image. Composition, colors and sharpness are all good. Nice shot! |

Karen, Looking at your crop again reminds me of something one of my granddaughters liked to say when she was very young - "I can't like that." I think that not seeing the "handles" of the brushes is like having a picture of a person with his/her feet cropped out - it doesn't work for me. |

I don't know if this provides any help, or not? Here's a picture that shows both the brushes and the paint jars on the two shelves. |

I probably should have posted a better explanation of the image. The brushes are on a middle shelf, underneath a group of paint jars and above a jumble of tools. The back of the shelf where the brushes are located is very dark, and I cropped it out. What you're seeing are the brushes that are lit well enough to understand what they, and their colors, are. |

I had the same "this isn't a macro shot" thought when I first looked at this image. It's a very well composed still life, with good sharpness, colors and lighting. The lines and shapes work well together. |

I'm in agreement with the previous comments. I like the cropping out of the glare at the top, the brown leaf segment on the right and the really unneeded portion on the left. The pod appears very sharp and, as mentioned, the colors contrast nicely. |

This is a very good idea of how to overcome the many impediments of the orchid area at Longwood. The composition is very good, as are the colors and the sharpness at the core of the flower. Don't see a thing that needs adjustment. |

Very nice composition. I'm in agreement with Ginger changes to the pictures. There was a need for contrast, which I think sharpens the softness of the original image. |
