3 Mar 25 Reply Yes, I like this crop, Kieu-Hanh. Thanks for your explanation about the haziness. Mar 30th
3 Mar 25 Reply Thanks for your comments, Andres. Mar 26th
3 Mar 25 Comment Joan, I like how you've combined brightening the colors with softening the textures using the Orton Effect. Your tight crop of the car creates a more abstract look. The colors of red, orange, and blue create an artistic look. Mar 17th
3 Mar 25 Comment Mary Ann, the number of snow geese in your photo is truly amazing. The white of the flying and swimming geese draws my attention. I think you could emphasize the geese even more by selecting and darkening the background. Perhaps a vignette might help too to keep the eye within the photo's edges. Mar 17th
3 Mar 25 Comment I like the red of the parading elephants. They look so majestic as they head towards the golden gate. The wall forms an accompanying line as well. Since the background is hazy, I wonder if it would help to crop the top down to include the golden large building. To me that would let my eyes focus more on the elephants. How exciting that you got to ride the elephant! Mar 17th
3 Mar 25 Reply Mary Ann, thank you for your comments. I can certainly do more to bring out the details in the foreground and background. I'll do a bit more editing. Mar 17th
3 Mar 25 Reply Kieu-Hanh, I like your suggestion of trying monochrome with a colored tone. I'll try that. Mar 17th
3 Mar 25 Comment Robert, as others have mentioned, the interaction between the two birds is priceless. You've done a pleasing job of editing with elimination of the post and drawing attention to the birds. The position of the incoming bird works well for strong composition. Nicely done! Mar 17th
3 Mar 25 Comment Michael, the combination of the sign, dog, and laughing boy create a humerous statement. The position of the dog works as if he's taking in the whole scene and purposely disobeying the sign. I'm glad you included that faint line of ground that the dog is sitting on too. Your photo works well for street photography. Mar 17th
3 Mar 25 Comment Andres, what a fun close-up you've discovered! I like the colors of pink, red, and rosy tan. The rocket shaped lights have interesting details. It's interesting that Kieu-Hanh has commented on the angle of the shot. I'm wondering what a bit more angle would look like to give the feeling of movement. Mar 17th
