Lisa, the b&w conversion works great for this amusing image. The snow carvings in the background give me a sense of place. The couple in front provide a wonderful focus. I agree that you could change the arm positions with editing, but I like the photo as is too. Enjoyable image! |

I really like the juxtaposition of the old and new parts of the city. The colorful, Victorian detailed houses provide a fascinating focus. I like LuAnn's version with the people removed. How great that you are revisiting older photos to play with PhotoShop edits! |

Kieu-Hanh, what a lovely flower! Is it a lotus or water lily? The lotus-type center is certainly unique. I appreciate the subtle pinks and frilliness of the petals. I like the tighter square crop that Michael suggests, so the greenery doesn't overpower the fragile blossom. |

Michael, thanks for your comments and suggestion. I agree that I like a bit more white in the center section to highlight the curve. |

What a fascinating place to visit! The low clouds give a haunting look to the scene, which is appropriate with its history. I agree with LuAnn that a tighter crop would let us see the buildings better. As LuAnn and Mary Ann suggest, the white buildings are rather bright. You could play with the brightness of the side white buildings vs the church to keep one of them (perhaps the church) as a center of interest. |

LuAnn, I enjoy the peaceful close-up scene you've created. The texture of the mushroom is interesting, and the bokeh gives an impressionistic feel. The few bright spots in the background and grass coordinate with the mushroom colors and don't distract my eyes. Nicely done. |
