Unfortunately, the wind and weather was too fierce to stand in the open for lightning photos. My husband and I marveled at all the lightning flashes as we drove down the park road towards Moab though. |

What a beautiful pattern the stairway forms! I love the bright blues and golds of the image too. Including the gorgeous railing gives the stairway a classic look. |

Very creative and striking image! I think the screws and bolts work well to mimic a cityscape. The placement of the moon adds to the overall look. Glad to hear that your photo did well in competition. |

The repeated domes and archways form a wonderful pattern. I like your composition that places the hall at an angle. Shooting the image from above allows us to see the series of signs and upper level walkway too. My preference would be to tone down the brightness of the rectangular lights on the bottom right. |

I like the soft pink of the blossom and its unusual shape. The shadow on the flower is also interesting. I would prefer a more blurred, consistently colored background to keep my focus on the flower. |

I enjoy the sense of movement that your photo captures. The bull and dress of the rider gives me clues to the setting, even with the blur. I agree that a rider or bull's face in focus would be my preference. |

I like how the zooming technique worked with the regular spacing and size of the pines in the plantation. The radiating lines look especially appropriate with the snow. I've tried zooming in and out with aspen trees in fall colors, but your pine plantation looks especially strong with the symmetrical trunks. |
