In my opinion, you did a great job on the panning and kept the bicyclist sharp. I like the blur of his legs and tire spokes. The bright green of the bike frame contrasts well with the background. I think the tongue out is rather funny, but you could clone it to take away the tongue if you wanted. |

I like both the color and black and white versions of the lotus. The black and white focuses my eye on the rim lighting and subtle ribs in the petals. I'd prefer a bit of dodging to highlight the center petal or petal edge (which is now dark), maybe to extend the light on right side a bit lower. The simplicity of the lighting is artistic as it is though. |

I love the colors and shapes of the umbrella display. Capturing the ribs of the umbrellas adds to the artistic look. I agree with Barbara that you could keep the closed black and open red umbrellas to create a journalistic view of the scene. That way, it's your interpretation of the scene with both the artistic display and setting. |

I like how your image sharply captures the details of the hummingbird, even her feet, while giving the sense of movement with the blur of wings. Darkening and blurring the background helps me see the bird more clearly. Cropping the feeder gives me a sense of place, but lets me focus on the hummingbird. Excellent job on this challenging shot! |
