Jim, the yellow was from another bottle on the right side that's not in the picture. The background was originally white, but I thought it was too white and distracting. |

It's an interesting background with a lot of texture for engagement photos. Glad to hear they were just goofing around. The position of his hands around her neck is rather alarming otherwise. |

I like the detail and sense of depth that you captured. It's amazing to see the Terra Cotta Warriors in their original positions like this. I wonder if a vertical shot would have worked to get more of the warriors in the frame. |

That should be saturation. The automatic spell check does strange things sometimes. |

I like how you used the cherry blossom branches to frame your shot. Including the Washington Monument helps us identify this iconic Washington D.C. image. I appreciate how full the blossoming trees are this particular year. I agree with Lisa that a little more attrition would be lovely. |

I like the variety of colors you've captured of the tree. Interesting that someone carved their name on the tree even in an arboretum. |

I like the textures and shades of rust in your image. Nice sharpness and pleasing diagonal lines. |

To me, the bright yellows and greens definitely communicate "springtime." I like the radial blur effect used just of the background. My preference is a little tighter cropping on the top to keep my eye more focused on the daffodil center. Beautiful shot! |

Lisa, I didn't want to waste paint either. These 2 oz. bottles of craft paint were mostly used up and actually dripped very little and slowly. I dried the final 8" x 10" painting and used it as a background. Do you recognize it in this image? |
