The biryani looks tasty to me. I especially like the green peppers on top to add color. If the sauce on the right is a part of the biryani dish, you may want the whole top of the container in focus. The blurred spice jars in the background work for me. The partial dish handle on the biryani seems awkward to me. Perhaps you could rotate the dish so the entire handle is visible. |

I like the vivid colors and variety of shapes. The waves with the blue reflection is especially nice. I find myself wondering what the center of interest is with the top of the photo so busy. With some dodging and burning, you could help me identify a center of interest more clearly. |

The diagonal tilt of the bird's head works especially well with the matching diagonal of the twig. I appreciate the detail you've captured in the bird's feathers and the catchlight in his eye. The light colored lines in the background in the upper right and lower left are somewhat distracting to me. The bird seems over sharpened to me in contrast to the blurred background. |

I find the lines of the bridge supports and fireworks interesting. Making it black and white is not the typical, but I agree with Randy that it works. The upward angle of the bridge lights makes it appear to me like your horizon line is crooked (even though it's not), which is a bit awkward. |

I like the angle you used for shooting that includes the mounds of snow in the foreground. In my opinion, the sun burst is especially attractive. I am bothered by one greenish sun flare right below the sun, which could be removed. |
