Hi Ken, thx for your comments. The linked pic is very inspiring for taking a fresh look at typical subjects.
The sunflowers caught my attention bec they stood out against the snow and normally they would have blended into the winter field colours. I couldn't take many pics that day. I had stopped at the edge of the road and the snow was about 4' high so I could move around to other angles. I was not about to climb into the snow and wallow around for a better angle.
One of my other images had the sunflowers without the farm house in the background and it was too bland and didn't tell a story.
Last week the snow melted and the sunflowers were insignificant again. Glad you enjoyed. |

I like the people in the image, it brings context to the image. The green roof gives the image strength. Nice capture. |

There are so much to like in this image. Each leaf draws you in to look at the details and the background image was a great choice. The drop shadow gives the impression that the leaves are very delicate and floating above the surface. |

Nice image with lots of details. I suggest lighting up the landscape to set off the star trails. |

Technically perfect with lots of details in the feathers and wings. Movement has been eliminated and the bird seems suspended. I find the background is too perfect and reduces the context of the nature story. |

Nice seeing. The top of the lens seems hot and right edge could be cleaned up. I really like the strong curves. |
