HI Pinaki, thanks for your comments on softer vs sharper. Here's another view of the house which has increased clarity. for me either way is very effective, thx. Marcus |

HI Barbara
Thanks for your great feedback. I love trying to show that old buildings still have some form of life. Marcus |

I like the bold colours and bold patterns and the combination keeps the eyes engaged. I find the 'picture corners' a bit distracting and for me they tend to interfere with the overall view. |

HI Ian
Thanks for your generous comments. This house was a great find and we were able to photograph it from all sides. It was a dull, overcast day so the shadows were not too intrusive. Marcus |

I like the details in the sand and the simplicity of the composition. Well done. |

This image has pleasing tones and warm colours. I'm not sure whether the point of interest is the architecture, the flags or the row of greenery. |

I like the details in the water droplets and the blue/yellow contrast. I feel the subject is tight in the frame on the lower half and would like to have seen more of the circle of rippled water. |

Hi Barbara,
Love your image. The flowers seem to jump off the page. I like the intentional direction of the light. Well done. |
